Zachman Brothers in 1960
In 1945, Arnold A. Zachman invented the aluminum greenhouse and constructed many buildings across the United States during the late 1940's and 1950's. A little known fact is the original conservatory at Como Park in St. Paul, MN was built by Zachman Brothers. Carrying on in his father's tradition, James Arnold Zachman, a civil engineer, embarked on his own and founded Zachman Homes.
Established in 1960, Zachman Homes has been a significant developer and builder of premier neighborhoods in the Twin Cities.
